The state exam is administered by Pearson VUE. To pass the test you'll need a score of 75% or better! But don't worry, you're going to ace it!

Broker post-licensing builds on the 72-hour pre-license course with deeper training in brokerage management and operations — and it's required to keep your broker license active.
Your initial Florida broker license expires 18 to 24 months after it's issued — the exact date (March 31 or September 30) is printed on your license and shown in your DBPR account at www.myfloridalicense.com.
You must complete all 60 hours of broker post-licensing education before that first expiration date. Don't wait until the last minute — leave yourself time to finish the course and for your completion to be reported to the DBPR.
If you don't complete the 60-hour broker post-licensing requirement before your first renewal deadline, your Florida broker license becomes null and void.
Florida does give brokers a limited fallback: within six months of the renewal date, you may be able to revert to a sales associate license instead of losing your license entirely. But to be a broker again, you'd have to requalify from scratch — so completing your post-licensing on time is by far the better path.

You can complete your final exam online in the comfort of your own home. You'll need a desktop computer or laptop and a current government-issued photo ID to verify your identity before the exam begins.
When you complete the course and pass the final exam, your completion is reported electronically to the DBPR and you'll receive a certificate for your records.
Then simply renew your broker license before your expiration date through your DBPR account at www.myfloridalicense.com and pay the renewal fee.
After this first renewal, you'll move onto Florida's standard continuing education cycle: 14 hours of CE every two years.

The course covers advanced brokerage topics — brokerage management, operations, and the responsibilities that come with running a real estate office — and concludes with the FREC-required end-of-course exam.
All 60 hours must be completed before your first broker license renewal deadline.
The end-of-course final exam is multiple choice. Per Florida Real Estate Commission rules, you must score 75% or higher to pass.
If you fail the final exam, FREC requires you to wait at least 30 days from the date of the original exam before retesting. You may retest a maximum of one time within one year of the original exam, and you'll be given a different form of the exam. If you fail the second attempt, you'll need to repeat the course before testing again.
The course must be completed within six months of registration. If you are unable to complete the course within the six month period, Premier Courses offers extensions for an additional fee.
Keep in mind that regardless of your course access period, Florida requires all broker post-licensing hours to be completed before your first license renewal deadline.
