Exam prep is supplemental study material. It carries no credit hours and does not satisfy the FREC 63-hour sales associate pre-licensing requirement, the post-licensing requirement or any continuing-education requirement. Exam prep is delivered online through our learning platform; purchase and access are completed in your online student portal. The Florida state examination is applied for through the DBPR and scheduled separately with Pearson VUE.

Do I need exam prep to get my Florida real estate license?

No. What the Florida Real Estate Commission requires is the 63-hour sales associate pre-licensing course and its end-of-course exam. Exam prep carries no credit hours and isn't part of that requirement.

It's study material: a way to find out what you actually know before Pearson VUE does. If you haven't started your required hours yet, begin there — Florida pre-licensing.

What's on the Florida sales associate exam?

The Florida sales associate exam has 100 multiple choice questions, you'll have 3.5 hours to complete it, and you need a score of 75 or higher to pass. The exam fee is $36.75 per attempt.

It's administered by Pearson VUE, Florida's testing provider, once the DBPR approves your application and issues your authorization to schedule.

Which one should I start with?

If you want one thing that covers everything, take the Exam Prep Online Video Course — it opens with a pre-test to find your weak spots, reviews the exam content on video, and closes with a post-test.

If you've already reviewed and just want to drill, the Sales Associate Drill & Practice QBank is the better buy. Add the Real Estate Math Video Library if calculations slow you down, and the Key Point Review Audio MP3 if you'd rather revise with your hands free.

Isn't exam prep already included in my pre-licensing package?

Some of it, yes. Every Premier Courses pre-licensing package includes an interactive course with quizzes and knowledge checks throughout, plus review questions and study tools.

The products on this page are standalone — useful if you studied elsewhere, or if you want a second, sharper pass at the material before exam day.

Can I buy just one?

Yes. Each product is sold on its own — there's no bundle you have to buy into and no order you have to follow. Pick the one that matches the gap you're trying to close.

What happens if I don't pass the exam?

You can reapply and retest with Pearson VUE, paying the $36.75 exam fee for each attempt.

Keep an eye on the clock, though: you must pass the state exam within 2 years of completing your pre-licensing course, or the course expires and you'll have to take it again.
