Florida Post-License Course Requirements - Florida Real Estate Commission School ID #ZH1003192

Premier Courses is approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) to provide the 45-hour Sales Associate Post-License course required for all newly licensed Florida sales associates. Premier Courses' school ID is ZH1003192.

The course covers the practical skills of working real estate — working with buyers and sellers, listings, contracts, financing, and risk management — and concludes with the FREC-required end-of-course exam.

All 45 hours must be completed before your first license renewal deadline.

Final Exam Information

The end-of-course final exam is multiple choice. Per Florida Real Estate Commission rules, you must score 75% or higher to pass.

If you fail the final exam, FREC requires you to wait at least 30 days from the date of the original exam before retesting. You may retest a maximum of one time within one year of the original exam, and you'll be given a different form of the exam. If you fail the second attempt, you'll need to repeat the course before testing again.

Completion Requirement Policy

The course must be completed within six months of registration. If you are unable to complete the course within the six month period, Premier Courses offers extensions for an additional fee.

Keep in mind that regardless of your course access period, Florida requires all post-licensing hours to be completed before your first license renewal deadline.

Online Course Identification Requirements

Before taking your end-of-course final exam, you'll be asked to verify your identity with a current government-issued photo identification, such as:

  1. A current Florida driver's license.
  2. A current identification card issued by a state or U.S. government agency.
  3. A current passport.

The name on your identification must match the name on your course registration.

Reporting Your Course Completion

When you complete the course and pass the final exam, you'll receive a certificate of completion and your course completion is reported electronically to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
