Florida 14-Hour Continuing Education Course Requirements - Florida Real Estate Commission School ID #ZH1003192

Premier Courses is approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) to provide the 14-hour continuing education course required for Florida real estate license renewal. Premier Courses' school ID is ZH1003192.

The course includes all three FREC-required components:

  • 3 hours of Core Law
  • 3 hours of Ethics and Business Practices
  • 8 hours of specialty education

Complete the course and pass the end-of-course exam before your license expiration date to satisfy your CE requirement for the renewal cycle.

Final Exam Information

Yes — because the course is delivered by distance education, the Florida Real Estate Commission requires an end-of-course exam. You must score 80% or higher to pass.

If you don't reach 80%, FREC rules require you to re-enroll in the course before taking the exam again — so give the material a careful read the first time through.

Completion Requirement Policy

The course must be completed within six months of registration. If you are unable to complete the course within the six month period, Premier Courses offers extensions for an additional fee.

Keep in mind that regardless of your course access period, your CE hours must be completed before your license expiration date.

Online Course Identification Requirements

Before taking your end-of-course final exam, you'll be asked to verify your identity with a current government-issued photo identification, such as:

  1. A current Florida driver's license.
  2. A current identification card issued by a state or U.S. government agency.
  3. A current passport.

The name on your identification must match the name on your course registration.

Reporting Your Course Completion

When you complete the course and pass the final exam, you'll receive a certificate of completion and your course completion is reported electronically to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).

You can verify your education record at any time through your DBPR online account at www.myfloridalicense.com.
